Subject: [CR]Ann's tubulars

Ann's struggles with the tubulars call for a certain degree of compassion I agree, and a little advice if it can be offered. It's good to have helpful tips, but it's one of those things where the more times you do it, the better you become at the task as you learn it with your body, not so much with your mind. My riding good buddy gave up tubulars and is always chastising me for going through the hassle all the time. I tell him that messing around with them feels like "cycling", and gives a connection to the days gone by, not least of which are the benefits of the way they ride. To which he replies, "Yeah". Don't listen to me though, I actually prefer to live without electricity, 'cept for this box with the keys beneath it. Like that Tufo rim tape too.
