Bob- Thats a Darn good question, and I should know, given I had 2 bikes that came OEM with Universal 68s. I hate to say it, but If I remember correctly they came installed with CAMPY on one bike (Legnano) and REG on another (Frejus). Furthermore, I recall purchasing both the 68s and the 77s new in box.
