Peter, sit down, take a deep breath, now think about this. THESE MACHINES ARE POWERED BY PEOPLE! Your bike can not beat another bike. Your beloved 4-speed Sturmey-Archer has never "beaten" a derailleur bike or even another 4-speed Sturmey-Archer. Geeesh...
