Don't know whether this bike has been outed. Seller has it listed as a Grand Prix with Benelux parts. His text also describes it as a Reg Harris Road Model with serial #29396 ra.

I have this frame with exactly the same transfers in 23 inch but with a serial number of WG4151. Last year, list member Mick Butler checked into serial numbers and said mine likely was a 1980s frame. Once again, I'll ask the list -- is there some other numbering scheme for these frames? I'm skeptical that Raleigh continued making the frame with all those 1950s details -- including the oiler cap on the BB -- into the 1980s. Any help or insights would be appreciated. And if it's a 1980s frame, so be it, but if so does anyone else have a Reg Harris bike with that kind of serial #?

Don't know whether anyone on the list is bidding on the bike, but in my opinion those frames are fantastic riders. I have mine set up as a fixed gear/noncoaster. With fenders/mudguards and the lamp bracket, it weighs in under 23 pounds.
