OK, I have obviously stirred (and shaken) the Cycle Gods (whom we all know are Englishmen) with this Peugeot PX-10 purchase. Oh, she's a 1972 judging from the date codes on...
The front Simplex derailleur Delrin mounting did what 30 year old Delrin does best... it broke whilst being adjusted at my cycle shop.
I knew I should have stuck with Sturmey-Archer!! British steel and all that..
Undaunted, I am looking for a replacement Simplex front derailleur for this.. I almost never even use the outer gear ring so this is more for originality than use. I guess that's a good thing given the apparent fragility of this stuff after time.
Anyone out there have one they want to sell??
