Hi Steve, I'm experimenting with the same problem. I made a long bolt so that I can have a thin jam nut on the inside of the dropout but it might be a problem with the chain on the last cog. I also made a rotation restrictor plate much like the ones on the old Mavic erector set derailleur. If this set-up doesn't work, I'll make the bolt with a clip washer like the new Campy derailleurs use. It would tighten against the clip washer and leave the derailleur free to move -probably a better idea really.
