OK I'm not in the same league as any of you folks, the only truly on-topic bike I own belonged to my father and is WAY too big for me to ride. Don't ask me how I ended up so short when my father is 6' 3", the only clue I have is that when I was a kid, the neighborhood milkman's nickname was "Stumpy".

Anyway, it's a 65 cm Peugeot PX-10 with mostly Nervex Pro lugs (somebody recently said '72 was the last year for the Pros... there must have been later "transitional" bikes because I had a '73 PX-10 with a Pro fork crown, BB, and seat lug, but plain HT lugs. My Dad's bike, bought a year later, had Pro HT lugs and seat lug, with plain BB and fork crown). I am in the process of cleaning it up to sell or trade towards a nice vintage frame.

So what on-topic bikes do I actually ride? <gulp> none, actually... unless you can count my two Masi's as KOF's (one is a beautiful '88 San Marcos Gran Criterium /Campy Chorus and the other is a pedestrian '93 Bilatto-built Gran Corsa).

I'm still looking for that perfect vintage Masi to buy that I can have a ball restoring and even more fun riding. It's been tough tho... I have very short legs and it seems that every Masi my size in the US is sitting in Brian's garage...

You may ask what I'm doing here since I don't own a stable of fine vintage machines... well, I loved those bikes when I was young and those machines were new, and I love them still. There is nothing I see in the bike shops these days that can come close in grace, beauty, or craftsmanship. But more importantly, the people on this list are some of the nicest and friendliest I've ever met, and many of you have become like family. Bless you all.
