Since I responded early with my three favorite on topic bikes only, and I've read about such wonderful collections, I will add all my bikes in case these end up being archived in some way. I've got some wonderful bikes and am proud of my collection, as small as it is compared to others grand selections.

78 Richard Sachs tourer, mostly Campy but for the stuff they didn't do well with touring. 71-3? Colnago Super, all Campy NR w/ SR bits and just an absolutely comfortable long distance ride. Early 80's ? Centurion, built by Cinelli and strung with a Mavic groupo, the frame looks to have been a messenger bike, but rides great. 79 Jack Taylor curved tube path racer, keeper of the flame as 50's bike with ASC rear. 2000 Surly Steamroller bobbish fixed set up as a rail trail bike, the bike that got me totally hooked on fixed gear. 74 Paramount Track with all the cogs and chainrings & spare wheels rescued from a retired trackie cleaning out the basement. 75 Peugeot UO-8 with only a seat post original to the frame, basically a bunch of great period parts waiting for that old inexpensive Reynolds touring frame. 89 Stumpjumper Team, rigid, the year after they got frame geometry right and the first year for hyperglide shifting, mostly original with a bunch of hop up stuff from that year. Its virtually the one that Ned Overend won the worlds on in 1988. 64 Raleigh Sport 3 speed, nice original shape but lots of dust and dry rotted tires yet to be cleaned up. Late 70's Fuji ? $10 yard sale bike being overhauled for a brother in law as a commuter. 96 Bruni tandem, with ergo shifting and freshly updated wheels, drivetrain and brakes. 90 diamondback road bike, with fork rake and parts modifications to make my wife feel more confident on it. (hers) 99? Performance hybrid (hers) for the rail trail next to our house that was a steal at a half price closeout. An early 90's Simoncini frame. And I just got a early 70's Raleigh Pro beater frame in blue and mink that I'm currently building up as a fixie to see how it rides. This may end up as a comfortable early Reynolds road frame with all new Ergo triple for the steep hills around my house. And I'm kicking myself for not bidding on the Bob Jackson Trike about a year ago. I woulda' gotten it. I've wanted to have at least one of every kind of bike, but y'know, I'm pretty happy with what I've got.

Here's a link to photos of some of them. I just recently got a digital camera so now that weather is getting better I may have more bikes up on the site soon. http://community.webshots.com/user/danartley I am running out of basement space but at least they're not out in a non climate controlled garage. ;^)

I'm having fun here.
