to the best of my knowledge, no WAY is this a first generation Mexico frame. Not even close. It probably dates from 1984 or so. In fact, aside from the obvious details like the lugs and the fork crown, the graphics and the braze-on front-derailleur, and the stamping in the chainstay (a dead giveaway for 1983 or later..) is that a pre-Master crease I see in the top-tube???

<sigh> There are likely people bidding on this thinking it's what the seller says it is, when it is so *obviously* not what it is described to be.

Sad. Someone's going to pay too much for it.. I can't think of a better recent example of caveat emptor on ebay...
