Somewhere in this early 80's timeline came the Sprint group. For my money, it was equal to Superbe...I used this group on a nice Ishwata O22 framed Bianchi. I rode the weekend centuries with the local big boys on the SR equipped Pinarello Montellos and Gios Torinos. My drivetrain was quieter. I was slightly faster too but as Chuck says, it's the rider, not the machine, right? I just wish I had owned a Clubman back then!

Still have the rear derailleur. A personal favourite and it endeared me to Suntour forever.
