The Mondonico frames built for Masi USA in '96 were probably better than what Alberto was building concomitantly for Euro consumption. Were SoCal Masi's from '74-'83 (to keep inside the timeline) better machines than Vigorelli models of the same era? If so, which are the 'real' Masi's? The better ones, the ones with Faliero's authorized decal, the ones made at the center of the universe? Earnesto had his Colnago's fabricated all over the place right? Is a Csuka Singer a Singer, or a better Singer?

All rhetorical -- all with a smile.
