My point: For many years Masi has been about the name. Falerio knew this when he sold the US production rights. Roland Salm knew what it was all about also when he bought them. Sure those early bike were good and loaded with MOJO, but we have covered why Masi was in business(check the archives). Looking back at Masi's of the last 15 years or so what did they offer? The frames were not marketed as innovative, were not made to measure, or cheap(until recently). The only thing they offered over other bikes was the name. I have no idea if they are successful, I have not seen the P/L statement. Maybe it is all coming to an end for the Masi name.
