On my way home from the border, I stopped at a bike shop in Benson, AZ, population 6 or 7, and spotted a bike in the corner with a pretty headbadge painted red, white, and blue "Super Royal cycle de luxe". No paint on the frame, rod brakes, 28" wheels, double top tubes, Nervex professional lugs, with the bottom head lug quite large to accommodate the lower top tube and down tube. It had a serial number stamped on the seat tube--37456. I've seen that double top tube on bikes in Mexico, but nothing with those lugs. Any help with information about the bike would be appreciated. The shop owner also had a Torpado with all modern components except for the brakes: Universal side pulls. I'll be stopping in that shop again. Hope Ken in Bisbee and all the Tucson guys don't find out about the place....
