Subject: [CR]Casati collectable?

Hello Listmembers,

i recently noticed a casati with gold plated ICS Super Record group on german ebay. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2793347404

Ok, the white and gold looks very flamboyant and may not be exactly en vogue, but i think it is a very nice bike nevertheless. I especially like the seatstay's joint to the seat lug. (To explain: i'm neither seller or buyer. I bid, but got beaten by my singiness and a slooow internet connection... currently i'm nudging on the buyer if he want's to part with it for a profit.) i wonder why that bike didn't raise more attention in this group, to be honest. I checked the Classic Rendezvous website as well - no sign of Casati. So now i'm interested: Are Casati's considered to be collectible? what about the golden ICS? Was the price it collected reasonable? a steal?

i'd be happy to get your opinions...
