MIck's msge about Cafe games to pass the time reminded me that I am still after infomation and decals for a nice road / touring frame I purchased from an old gent in Birmingham (via a colleague).
The tag attached to it states that it is a 'Jack Holland'' and that it was resprayed by Industrial Powder Coatings of Birmingham.
Thus I have to guess that Jack Holland (aka J. A Holland*) was a local Brummy builder and bike shop owner?
Web-searches have revealed nothing at all of this builder* - but someone must surely have some memories... and know where to source a set of decals perhaps? (tried Lloyds of course - no joy!).
* A "J A Holland'" road frame went through e-bay some months ago - I saved the pics for reference, and guess what? my PC crashed and I lost the lot!
