My latest (and last!) acquisition, a 1948 Raleigh Record Ace acquired from a fellow CR list member, has Teclamite (sp?) pressure lubrication ports on the head races, bottom bracket and pedals.
Does anyone know when this was developed and when it passed from use or other makes and models that employed it?
I assume if the races have all been recently rebuilt and repacked with modern grease, it is neither necessary or desirable to pump that lifeblood of a British bike... oil... into these ports for quite some time, if at all.
