Thanks, Martin, for the additional info and pix of your Morroni. My frame is quite conventional, by Pino standards. It has the "straw" stiffeners, and the fork legs are crimped in a diamond shape just below the crown (similar to De Rosa chain stays, but more pronounced), but other than that it is a pretty conventional track frame. Campy stay-ends/drop-outs, short point lugs with minimal thinning. Mine is sort of pearl white with the black and yellow "Telavio" stickers with the three green mice. There is a black and yellow band on the seat tube that says Roma Italia. The stickers were not applied very carefully, and are out of alignment. There is actually no Morroni name at all on my frame. It was supposedly built for the Italian national team for national competition, so I thought I would build it as it might have been built originally for it's intended purpose, hence the conventional Italian components. Once I have a chain on it, I'll take some pix.
