Though this list is great, and hopefully informative to any of the newer participants of our sport, I wish there was a place wheree there was discussion of some of the great bike RIDERS of yrs gone by. Many of the new riders think the sport started with Lance.

As an example, when we were required to wear white socks, Phil Guernacia had forgotten his, and in gest, took some white shoe polish and painted his ankles. I think it was at the Paramount Criterium. It was really quite funny.

To keep this on topic, Baylis has a great story about three guys on a triplet at Rosarito ~ Ensenada that had some "trivial" brake problems, while descending at very high speed. Brian?
