Glad someone reminded me--Cirque starts this month!!!! Wow, another year and another winter. I'll be bringing two bikes. One is the bike that Confente hand built for Eddy Merckx (I know you've all heard about it on the list, but now you will get the chance to see it in person). I don't know why he used club cutouts instead of spades, but maybe he didn't want to offend Mr. Ernesto. I even have provenance on this baby. The second is a real rarity. It is a racing bike that Richard Sachs built for a racer back in the 70s--terrible geometry and I for the life of me can't believe that Richie would have let this out of his shop. But, I guess the guy raced it. I'll have period correct parts on them, Campagnolo of course. Of course, I just looked at the calender and darn, guess I better go warm up the Lear Jet.
