I don't know about making new forks to be just like originals or not, but I can say that Mr. Gangl, (the supposed builder of the replacement fork on this subject Masi), does some beautiful work. Ignore the colors (unless you happen to prefer pink and blue) of this seemingly late 1970s to early 1980s Richard Gangl frameset on Ebay, and enjoy what's underneath...
