Listers and Listees,

Just so everyone is clear, Zurich or some other Zoot firm (AIG, Zurich etc.) usually do not sell insurance directly to the consumer. These companies are known as carriers and typically deal with business customers. All policies that are issued by these companies go through insurance brokers, who work for the insured party to find the best coverage and best pricing structure on premium, deductibles, etc. The broker takes a commission from the premium, typically 5 to 15%. My recommendation on bike insurance would be to add an endorsement on to your homeowners policy and pay the extra premium. At least check and see if they will consider it.
