A sidebar to this tubing/labelling discussion is how many cheap bikes bear a sticker that emulates the Reynolds 531 sticker--black background, green letters, gold border, and also that more than a few bikes have been labeled "Chrome Moly Tube," in the singular. Usually it's a seat tube--just to give the manufacturer stickering rights. And, John J, it's really disappointing to hear that CNC pulled that
trick!
