I'd never offered this bike to the list because it was made about 10 years after the fact, but it is a lugged, steel, bare frame - and it needs a home, and it spent forever behind my couch in a bike box. Now it's back in my boyfriend's bike room, but it still needs a home.

Eddy Merckx Team Kelme, 1993 w/fork. Italian threaded BB. 54 cm center to center seat tube 55 cm center to center top tube I believe this is TSX.

Heres the deal on this. Ray bought this back in 1993 during the height of his endurance cyclist activities. Since he rides a 54, he bought a 54, but, its a big 54 and after about 1000 miles of training he found it too big and went and bought the next size down, which he still rides and currently lives on the trainer. This one got stripped and put up and he never did anything with it again. Its too small for my kid and too small for Roman Stankus and probably Nick Z, (maybe not, except that I don't think that Nick goes that modern).

The thing is Ray paid about 1100.00 for the frame and fork, and since he HAD to buy two, he'd like to get 600.00 out of this one, since he used it for about 3 weeks. No, his logic makes no sense to me at all, so if you've a reasonable offer, please email me and I'll forward it on.

My motivation here? Well Ray and I are moving in together this fall and I, of course, have a lot of stuff that needs to move into the bike room, so his excess stuff needs to go.
