Subject: [CR]Please help identify this Peugeot Mixte
http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/samadamsfavbrew98/my_photos Thats the link
for the pictures of this mixte. I know it's low end but it was in just such
amazing condition I had to pick it up and for 10.00, why not? It's all white,
front fork is chromed, serial number on left rear drop out but their are two
small holes under the bb where a plate could have been mounted. Mafac racer
calipers, mafac levers with half hoods and mafac lever covers. Rims are chrome
Rigida with a a wavy textured braking surface, I've never seen this pattern before
just the checked pattern. Both wheels have simplex QR skewers, normandy hubs.
AVA stem which will be replaced, I don't want my girlfriend crashing, Ideale
39 saddle. I didn't check the drop outs, don't know if they are marked. The
cranks are cottered steel and are Nervar, I haven't checked the the chainrings
look like either simplex or nervar.
Again, I know its low end but the condition was stupendous. The way you see
it in the pictures is the way I bought it, didn't clean an inch of it yet. The
paint, decals, chrome, it all looks perfect, not a bit of rust or scratches
anywhere. I even think the handlbar tape is original and that is in perfect
shape as well.
