Subject: [CR]Pogliaghi identification

A few days ago I participated in a string of postings concerning what is an 'authentic' Pogliaghi as opposed to one made after all connection to the 'workshop' had been lost. I had assumed that my bike was an inauthentic bike because I had misinterpreted the serial number. In an effort to confirm which bike I had, I exchanged postings with two knowledgeable list members, and Norman Helman wrote "This bike was made in the Pog workshop-it is probably made in the late 1970s-as I remember that Pog used a sort of golden metallic orange-" Describes the color of my bike perfectly.

My point: I joined this list to learn more about classic bicycles. I have not been disappointed.
