Hi Charles ,

Legnano was a bicycle maker in Italia , not France .

Frejus was also a bicycle maker in Italia .

For a brief while , at the end of their lives , during the very early 1970's , they were merged together , Frejus-Legnano .

And for another brief period , very brief , during the 1980's , the names were brought back from the dead .

Both Frejus , and Legnano , were very old names in the world of bicycles . Both names go way back in time . Both names won their share of championships .

And of course , what made Legnano different , was the seat binder bolt , located UNDER the top tube , and ahead of the seat tube .

This one on eBay you're asking about , the chartreuse Legnano , might be from the late 1960's ?? It's hard to tell from the one small dark photo .

On EBay seller states,"Racing bicycle Legnano, period years 60/70, completes originates them, entire mounted Campagnolo except the handle-bar that is marchiato Legnano Sella in Brooks leather (the written one is consumed but it is succeeded to catch a glimpse it) , decalcomanias are still leggibili while the varnish of the chassis enough is consumed. For other information and photo hesitated not to contact to me, also for the eventual withdrawal of the bicycle. " How do these Legnano rate along side other french bikes leaving out singer
