Subject: [CR]Re Canada Third World...

Hello All,

I don't take it personally that my " Home and Native Land ", as our national anthem goes... was, as some in other countries would say ,"Dissed". I would like to say that down here in Nova Scotia we have a builder that was owner and builder in a shop called CycleSmith... not that that name isn't used in other countries. He made great high end frames called " Tamarack ". This is a tree up here that is extremely old, strong and rot resistant, so as the saying goes if you want something to last up here like a wharf or a fence then you build it out of " Tamarack ". This was a great name I thought because his frames have all those attributes.

His last name I am sure of but his first name I'm shaky on. The last name is Beaver... can you get any more Canadian than that? So if you ever run into one of his bikes, that are on topic, being built in the 70's - 80's, then don't pooh pooh it. It's collectable.

Kind Regards,

Thom Adams
