Hello folks here I am playing roving reporter for you again. Mitzi and I found a really cool little shop in Middelburg (which is in Zeeland), Netherlands last week while on a roadtrip with the in-laws. I made a little webpage for it at: http://homepage.mac.com/monkeylad/bikes/PhotoAlbum21.html There was no name on the outside of the shop, just some Campagnolo decals and two bikes and a bunch of old parts in the window. One of the bikes was a 1954 Locomotief Holland and a newer Gios. We went in and tried to talk to the owner, but the conversation was a bit off. me: "Sprek je engels?" him: "Nee, duits. . . frans?" me: "Nee, ik sprek een beetje nederlands." him: (nod and look at me) me: "Ik bin feitsenmaker uit Amerika." him: "Ya, Amerika?" me: "Ya maar Ik woon in Gent." Luckily this is where my much more fluent wife Mitzi steps in and makes a few statements as I mumble things in English. Alas she had to leave to placate the non-bike riding only-English speaking in-laws. I then snapped a few pics so that I can remember to go back sometime. He didn't have a business card, but I do know he was on Langnoordstraat if anyone want's to visit. Hey Baron do you know this shop? enjoy, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives Currently Gent, Belgium PS: Please CC me for any replies to this post because I'm not receiving email from the list currently. ++++++++++++++++++ Nothing says yesterday like something that used to say tomorrow. ++++++++++++++++++
