I know it's kind of late, but it looks like we should have a pretty good showing tomorrow. At least a dozen or more. Some fixed gear, but mostly geared bikes. About 25 miles, some rolling. Meet at my house at 10:00, roll out at 10:30. Here are some basic directions from the beltway:

CAPITAL BELTWAY/I-495 (I think this is East towards Tyson's Corner) Take the VA-7 E/LEESBURG PIKE exit- exit number 47A- toward FALLS CHURCH. 0.3 miles Merge onto LEESBURG PIKE/VA-7 E via exit number 47B toward FALLS CHURCH. 2.0 miles After passing under the Rt. 66 overpass, proceed up the hill to traffic light at top of hill. At light: Turn RIGHT onto SHREVE RD. After approx. 1 mile: Turn LEFT onto FAIRWOOD LANE:

My house, 7507, is 1/2 mile up on the right.

My phone number is 703-204-2039 (mobile is 202-345-8322).

Looks like we will have beautiful weather. Some socializing afterward, to be sure. Did a shake-down cruise on my De Rosa today, so it looks ready for tomorrow and Cirque.

So sorry I missed y'all at the swap. And as asoory that after all the scrambling to help my friend John get in early (so he could get back and help us back at the home front........ that he had a dog do a sick-out in the pre-dawn scurry and he did not make it til half p[ast 8 and just waitied in the layman's line. I owe whoever bought the pass what ever I owe you and will catch up.

Slight possibility of making it to the ride Sunday, so if anyone can forward the directions again, much appreciated. I remember it was flattish, and hopefully conversational, so I might bring my woodie.

Do we know who will attend and what will they ride?

Thanks in advance
