Subject: [CR]For Sale (Trade*) at Cirque - Raleigh RRA & Chesini Olimpiade

In a last minute decision to try and off-load a couple unfinished projects, I've decided to offer two of them up for delivery at Cirque. I'm leaving tomorrow morning, so I'll need to know any interest pretty quickly. Please review the details of each below.

Wayne Bingham Falls Church VA

Raleigh RRA 1973 55cm x 55cm (c-c) - This is a 95% complete original bike, with the exception that the Stronglight crank has French pedal threading, and no pedals are included. Other than that, this bike is original down to the bar tape, cables and housing, and a minor layer of grime. Reynolds 531db, Stronglight 93 crank, Simplex derailleurs/shifters, 3ttt Record 85mm stem, GB bars, Weinmann brakeset with black Carlton hoods, Simplex steel seat post with original Ideale 2002 saddle, Maillard Pro 700 hubs/AVA rims. It's essentially the same as the one seen here http://www.classicrendezvous.com/British/Raleigh/RRA.htm , but with the Ideale saddle and the other things noted above. This bike is in excellent condition, but is dirty. It needs to be disassembled, cleaned and reassembled, after which it will be near perfect. Offered for sale, delivered to Cirque for only $575. NOTE: I WILL ONLY BRING THIS BIKE IF THERE IS SERIOUS INTEREST OR A COMMITMENT, SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Chesini Olimpiade (early 80's?) 56cm x 56cm (c-c) - Cool Italian bike in kit form. This is a frame and 95% of the parts to build it. Frame is metallic red with Olympic rings engraved in the upper and lower HT lugs, seat lug, top eyes and head tube (along with the "Olimpiade" name). Columbus SL. Chrome c-stays and Dos. Frame has some nicks and scratches, mostly touched up, but nothing serious. Overall very good. Chrome fork with rings and Olimpiade in crown. Parts include an almost complete Gipiemme Spring build kit. NOS crank, brakeset (still in box with cable set), BB, HS, Simplex/Gipiemme derailleurs and shifters. Used parts include a wheelset with Gipiemme Sprint hubs laced to Fiamme Ergal gold label rims. No tires are mounted. Sort of generic used SR stem, bars and seatpost are included. All that's needed are pedals, a saddle, bar tape, tires and some assembly. $325. NOTE (*): I WILL BRING THIS EVEN WITH NO COMMITMENT, AND WILL CONSIDER TRADES.
