Hello, During WW2 bicycle production was limited by the government. In October of 42 the quota was 88,000. In September of the same year it was 90,000. chris ioakimedes Fairfax California

greetings as i pull together some documentation for a project, i find that i'm in need of some "ball park" (or should that be velodrome?), figures for how many vintage lightweight bicycles were manufactured during the 1930 to 1983 era. thus far internet research has not been fruitfull. if any of the cognescenti can point me towards appropriate reference material i would be gratefull. my main geographical areas of interest = US / Europe / GB / Japan if i can afford to be picky.

best regards
