Hello Ed,

Yes, there were many early eighties Bianchi bikes built in Japan that made it to North America in the early eighties. Italian built Bianchi bikes were imported too. I had a racing buddy with a very nice blue Ishi-water one with gold decals, and suntour parts, in 1982.

Ed Landreth, Norfolk,VA USA I picked up a late seventies ,early eighties Bianchi Limited that had been taken as a trade in by our Lbs a few years ago with an Ishwata tubing label on the seat tube. Does anyone know whether or not any Bianchis were made in Japan and If so When?
Thanks for any help you may offer. .
