Subject: [CR]Bianchi tubing Question.

Date: Tue, 4 May 2004 11:43:00 EDT I bought a Japanese Bianchi around 1990 that was made with Ishiwata tubing. It was new and equipped with lower end Shimano components, but had Ambrosio rims. It was a perfect beginner bike for a lady friend.

I picked up a late seventies ,early eighties Bianchi Limited that had been taken as a trade in by our Lbs a few years ago with an Ishiwata tubing label on the seat tube. Does anyone know whether or not any Bianchis were made in Japan and If so When? Thanks for any help you may offer. Ed Landreth, Norfolk,VA USA.
