Using the Weinmann center pulls. As you recall, the braze-on stops are underside, right hand, slightly rotated from the 6 o'clock position. With this fit, using the left hand for the rear causes the brake cable to rub excessivel against the frame - not a smooth flow of routing.

Actually, I like flipped rear brakes - gives a clean look to the stays. Depends where the frame pump is mounted. Some of my bikes have the pump behind the seat tube.

Incidentally, what side pulls would be sort of correct for a 72/73 International - Universal 68?

Just an idea... If you're wanting to use a sidepull, why not flip the caliper around, and install INSIDE the seat stays... Works great on my Lion Rapide! The caliper doesn't care which way it's mounted, especially the rear. Looks a little different, but it grows on you...;)
