I spent many hours this winter bringing a '72 Sports Tourer back from the dead. I'm still not sure why, as I haven't yet figured out under what conditions I'd ride the thing. Maybe it's because way back when I so wanted a new one so that I could finally own something that said Campagnolo on it. Maybe if I had bought the Sports Tourer instead of a Motobecane Grand Touring back in '71, I would have been so disappointed with the Campy GT boat anchor that I would have been cured and would not have a basement full of Campy stuff today.

Anyway, photos of the blue goose are at http://www.biketoss.com/Barner/. I took the kickstand off to save weight, wondered who I was kidding and stuck it back in.
