Simoni hasn't won a race this year (but he could today), while Cunego already has six. And while Cunego has said he'll happily work for Simoni at the Giro, we're reminded of the 1965 Tour de France, where Vittorio Adorni took along 22 year old neo-pro Felice Gimondi to help him in the first week. Gimondi was too good, however, and ended up winning the Tour!
