here in new england, some of the more uptown cyclocross events are the "property" of the promoter - and there are official photographers who pay for the rights to document the event for the press. i.e. the promoter owns all images connected with the race.
if a guy registers a bicycle at cirque's sunday gig, i think he has no right to object to all the scrutiny it's put to; pics, opinions, kudos, etcetera. dale, and the local organizers, are running a for-profit event. if this particular bicycle had any importance, its image could be used to promote future cirques.
the offended owner must be a listee. c'mon - tell us what you were thinking here.
