e: IMHO, I'm not sure if your suppostion, reasons to use the old stuff,
is
the same as what many here are using in the first place. I believe many
here are using the rationale of: reason's to use old and/ or new stuff,
and
reason's not to use new and/ or old stuff. And such people are coming up
with the decision: hey there are not enough good reasons *not* to use the
old stuff as compared with the new. i.e. its at very least good enough.
