Can anyone tell me if Campy started to only drill triple cranks and not the fluting in 1983 Stradas? Upon closer examination, it appears that the "crank rub" I mentioned earlier were actually blades of grass covering the cranks arm...

Well folks, Spring has arrived and with it comes yet another ebay seller attempting to deceive the public.

http://ebay.com/<blah>

The seller claims this Campy NR Strada Triple crankarm set is OEM and this does not appear to be the case. The right crankarm is modified by having holes drilled out , but the drilled-out fluting that identifies it as Campy OEM is not present. The seller claims these crank arms are "brand new", but the right crank arm clearly shows front derailleur rubbing on the back of the crank arm. Even the left crank arm laser etched style does not match the right crank arm.

I just thought I'd give a warning to newer CR members, you have to watch out for the ebay sharks that try to feed in the Spring!
