Hi Folks:
Yesterday someone brought around the frameset of a pre1955 Allegro for me to attempt to remove his cottered crankarms(3 arm Durax bayonet pattern). It has a Simplex Competition front changer still mounted, and an alumininum Simplex banjo lever with the wrong Cyclo England cover over the barrel.A pulley on top of the bottom bracket shell for rear derailleur cable. It all looks very 1954 to me,but he wants a serial number analysis, and Peter Grenader's site is down. So,the number is 133080,and do we have a Marque Enthusiast to whom this is meaningful?
Oh,the lugs are Nervex Serie Legere resembling Haden specialist,FWIW.
