Subject: [CR]Simplex Super LJ Feedback

Listees:

Having read the prior CR threads concerning 'rankings' of vintage friction shifting equipment, I decided to swap out the Campagnolo SR Rear derailleur and shifters that adorned my Holdsworth Pro for some Simplex Super LJ stuff. I have an admitted anti-Simplex prejudice having grown up as a wrench during the 'plastic-guerilla' era of the early to mid 80's. All I can say is WOW...(although its defintely not an Azuki)....it shifts a whole lot better. I apologize to the French and LJ for all the bad things I have said about them over the years.

Thanks to those of you that hooked me up with the equipment and provided advice......
