It is so good to hear that John finally got his dream bike and I will be sure to take some pics when we all get together in Ft. Collins on Memorial day for a little vintage ride.

Speaking of which, Rod K. (not redcay) is organizing the ride so maybe he can post a little more on that. I'll ride my Red K!

As far as John having bikes grace his bedroom! John, john, john... You have a sickness my friend:) Ok, show of hands. How many have bikes in the bedrooms?

This remind me. I met a fella the other day on a ride and he was riding a Nobilette that had a very whacky paint job. We chatted and it turned out that he painted it himself since. Then he invited me over to show my his collection:-) He had a nice late 70's Mercian in the shop, and a really neat Ideore road bike on the trainer. Oh, and that Nobilette paint job has many little touches that only the owner would know about. He had taught astronomy so he had a few constellations and a nebula. A Navy insignia, and the face of his dog about the frame.

He also has a very unique Carlton with truely custom lugwork in Boulder. I got to see some of the lugwork because he carries a picture of it in his wallet! It was right next to the picture of his wife and dog! Show of hands. How many have pictures of their bikes in their wallets?

I hope to get some pictures of the Carlton some day and post them. I told Steve about the list so hopefully he can tell us all about how he got that Carlton!
