Subject: [CR]Alex Singer - the show so far...

For those of you who asked to see pics, I hope to get some taken this weekend and send them off shortly thereafter. Thanks for your interest in this bike.

As you'll recall I mentioned that the assembly quality of my new Alex Singer wasn't the best. I'm not referring to the finish quality here - over all that's fine and as I expected it (or better in some cases). No I'm talking about the components and wheels (things like low tension on the spokes, out of adjustment brakes, wheel dishing off). Jan Heine has assured me this in not the typical case for these bikes and I trust and believe him on that. Mine's just the odd one out.

In any case, Jan was kind enough to contact M. Ernest Csuka and relay my story to him. Jan then emailed me the following (emailed here with his permission) (editted somewhat)....

JAN -

"...Hi John,

So, again if you are considering getting one of these fine bikes by all means do so. Don't let mine's niggling problems (that can/will be worked out) stop you by any means.

And I recommend Jan's services here. He has been excellent to deal with as a go between for me and Alex Singer.
