I found a link with a soundfile that might clarify that matter once and for all :-)

I just found out the excellent english/german online dictionary at dict.leo.org provides soundfiles for the verbs.

The german word "Buch" (=book) sounds almost identical to "Puch", so if you check out

http://dict.leo.org/?search=buch&searchLoc=0&relink=on&spellToler=std&sectHdr=on&tableBorder=1&cmpType=relaxed&lang=de

and press the yellow "p" you get an idea :-)
