Well!..................HERE...I...GO!

For starters I like all nice bicycle parts! But there's a few or many that one way or another stood out above the Norm of Campagnolo. Not because they worked any better.........For some it was because of the price and other LOOKS!........LOOKS!.........LOOKS! But worked just as good as Campagnolo.

Crankset, Gipiemme Crono Special Crankset, Campagnolo copy ''YES!'' Finish was right up there with Campagnolo!...........And I got one hell of a deal on a stack of NOS cranksets.............$ 25.- A POP! A sweet deal for some riders.........Might I mention they came stock with 41t rings, a major plus!

Hubset, Gipiemme Crono Special hubsets, Campagnolo copies but with sealed bearings......Satin finish as well..........At half the price of Campagnolo.........Lace them up! And on the road we go, an outright GREAT DEAL!

Brakeset, Modolo Professional & Master brakesets, just liked them and of course the selection of colors of the Professional left you wondering what would you next bike look like!.............YIKES!......I saw an all green bike! And it left me feeling sick!

Rims,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,MAVIC SSC!.......Silver, blue and hard grey!.......I like them all. 40,000 miles on a set of rims.........So to say no other would do. 40,000 mile rims, sidewalls were getting thin so it was time to retire the pair..........BTW: I used this set of rims for 10,000 miles then sold them to a friend who then used them for another 20,000 and back to me for the other 10K...................Got these on a deal as well!.........$ 40.- for the pair. And this was no mistake.

Chain and freewheels...............Anything I couldn't destroy!

TIREs, tubulars FRENCH MADE!..........ALESi! I think this is the way it's spelled? Model unknown but all I can say............I took them through ''HELL & BACK!'' and they lasted until the black tops were gone!.........No flats at all!...........They lasted forever......About a 250 gram tire. They came off of a NOS EDDY MERCKX!........I got the bike from a Dutch shop back in '85 and sold it with clinchers!...........This is how I got to know these tires.

Saddle.............Regal

Seat post...............FRENCH MADE JPR!...............CHEAP!...CHEAP!...CHEAP! For the price of $ 2.- I couldn't go wrong! EASY AJUSTMENT WITH 2, 5mm hex bolts from the rear and it looked a lot different from the rest!.........Polish it up and it was looking great! What the hell iT's only a seatpost to tie your saddle down to HOLD UP THE REAR! And I saw no reason why to use anything other. And yes!.........................It held up very nicely. Save some ''BIG BUCKS!'' on a seatpost.........And take your girl out to a nice lunch!.............I'm game!

Rear mech, Galli Criterium.........What can I say it was French and was able to strip and rebuild like the MAVIC................Shifting was good as well!............Colors, Colors, Colors...........too!

Shifter............Simplex Retofriction.

Front mech, headset, and pedals....Campagnolo Record or Super Record! Dependable work horses.

Toe straps...........BINDA EXTRA!..........Or anything that held up!

These parts were on a everyday user!

Baron C. BC.................And the gang!!............KICKING IT THE OTHER WAY!...............ALL OLD BIKE PARTS ARE COOL! Renaissance cycles Eindhoven HOLLAND!
