Jim Cole Memphis, TN -------------------------------------------------------------------- Jim- I have a feeling someone has already mentioned it, but you are correct, these non-milled later cranks are different AND stronger than the older style. They have extra beefed up casting in the spider/cranks arm area that is always prone to cracking. I have had these later non-milled cranks on three different bikes, but only one of them have I put 10,000 miles (10+years) on.
