Since it's wrap around stays being discussed I assume you mean the latter. Just curious as I had a Mississippi made Schwinn LeTourIV crack the joint where the left seatstay attaches. Seperated completely, but was only spotted due to rust so maybe came apart bit by bit.. Was surprised it happened, and also at how uneventful it was. All it did was creak going through dips in the road casting suspicion on an innocent B17. Probably repairable but not worth it really.
