Hi All!

Looks like I stirred up a little bit of an interest for these framesets, sorry for getting you guys al fired up...................Of which are in need of smaller framesets! Anyway we want to do them right so for us the only place for them to be done up this would be no other than at MERCKX. We'll have some new in a few weeks time.

Anyway! The road trip in tracking down this bike it was a road trip like no other! We drove all the way to this Belgium village and we left the instuctions at home!..............Darn!....Sh*&!...........And all that! Cecile was driving and she was pissed!...............I said OH WELL!........Let's have some lunch in Antwerp! She said NO!...NO!..NO! We're going to go and find this thing! What's the guys name?? Right, that's it!.........Shit! We only have 30 minutes and he's gone untill 3:00 PM!........OK!.........off to the TEXACO gas station! Hey!...Got a phone book! Dial up the numbers that we found, sh*&^!..........My cell phone is isn't dialing out! OK!.......What are the addresses of these guys! Drive around, hit one! No wrong guy! This guy says, next village!....Go there! OK! Ask that lady where we can find this street!...........Ya! Ya!.........Go there and then go there, count six streets and go left!............So that's what we did!...........6th street!.........Hey it's a dirt road?!?! Na! We took the wrong turn! Now trying to remember what the lady said was hard!.........Because she was telling us something while showing me the map upsidedown!...Cecile is already driving the other way! And I say! We we're right, go back! No we go this way!.........Hey!.........There's not many streets here, we're in the country! OK! She said YA! It's here somewhere...................This is it # 1, Cecile checks and nope!......Wrong address!.....OK! We we're about to give up the chase then I looked at the address again!.........I said how did you get # 1?........I'm looking for # 30! That's what I thought I was reading!.................No!........it's # 30!.............OK!........Now we're buzzing the other way!..........Hey here it is!.....I think?, Cecile checks and it! ''YES!'' THIS IS IT!''......One minute to spare then he was off to the vegeatable auction to get some carrots for his horse. Anyway the old guy was hurting when he saw the bike leaving...........He said my heart is hurting but I know that it has found a good home! We told him it will become a part time user and a part time floor display, so when in SB, we'll be getting some photos off to him!.............Leaving his home...........He said you go there and go to the right! We said OK! And thank you! He sent us to a dead end?!?!?!...............We thought this can't be it,..........He said go there! So we did! It was a overgrown dirt road!?!?!...............It was the same road that the lady sent us to from the other direction. So to say it was the same road that was on the map!.............Bottom line, if in Belgium and someone shows you the way to a dirt road!..............Trust them.......................They are right!

OK!.........Job well done! Off to Antwerp for a nice lunch!....Once in SB....Surely we will miss these ''ROAD TRIPS!''

Next roadtrips..............France!..................Denmark and Sweden..................And Norway!.........Yep! Lots of bike stuff in the frozen north!
