Angel,

Many riders had a history of constantly making changes to their positions. Merckx certainly one of the most picky. In the video of the 1976 paris-roubaix, "a sunday in hell", Eddy gets off his bike just after the roll out, and borrows a spanner from another team car, and goes to adjusting his saddle. Classic!

Indurain, Pantani, and most other top pros have had their bike dimensions published in the Italian magazine "bicisport" in technical articles. It's interesting to see the evolution of their on position, and curious to wonder what they were thinking at some of it!?

So far, i've learned that I could ride any of Saronni's,Pantini's, Evgani Berzin's, or Ivan Gotti's bikes, we're all the same size! How come there is no PINK jersey in MY closet!!

Eddy Merckx appears to have made many size adjustments. In the Baronchelli diagram there is a note at that bottom that says, "Freni Ant. Sinsistro (Come Eddy)". Can someone say what this means about the brake installation that Merckx used? Angel Garcia Long Valley, NJ

snip: Interesting find. I wonder if any of the specs will be a surprise to anyone?
