Chuck Schmidt explained several different models of the old Swallow. Now, on my NOS one it says "Champion Swallow". Where does this enter the picture?

Also, I had another look in the box and found a B15 Swallow. Just as Chuck says, it is much inferior in comparison to both the old and New Swallows with the "number plates" underneath.

Besides, I didn´t want to say that the New Swallow isn´t a nice saddle as such. It´s just that I feel it´s overpriced, even at European prices. One hundred Euros is a bit steep for a serial number and a covering letter.

Lastly, Richard Cielec was wondering about the build quality of the New S. If the stitching is only remotely as good as on the old ones, it should last for ages. I (plus a number of former owners) have been using an old S. for decades and it still looks ok.
